At Holme Grown Allotment Society (HGAS) in Holme Village, Cumbria we welcome gardeners from all walks of life.  Whether you are a first-time grower, or a expert, there’s a space for you in our friendly community. 

Our members are only too happy to share their ideas on going organic, recycling and being environmentally friendly.  But most of all, they are happy to share their love of growing!

A few words from our Chairman.

A couple of months ago following a personal email from Beetham Nursery I applied on behalf of Holme Grown Allotment Society for a FREE Jubilee Tree to plant on the allotment. I can now inform you all that we have been selected to have a free sapling to plant in commemoration of The Queens Platinum Jubilee. I will be collecting the sapling on Thursday 2nd June. I propose to have a social gathering after the Jubilee weekend to plant the tree for members and families to celebrate this great occasion. Details to follow.
